Covid-19 Information for customers and guests of Harbourview
Due to the current situation with Covid-19 we are all thinking about our families and friends, particularly the elderly and the vulnerable. We at Harbourview are also very concerned for our community, customers and team and want to reassure you that we are taking extensive measures to ensure BEST PRACTICE INFECTION CONTROL cleaning and GOOD PERSONAL HYGIENE in our venues by all our staff.
Safety is our top priority at the moment and therefore we have implemented measures to try and keep everyone safe. We have been following recommendations from the Australian Government , NSW HEALTH and World Health Organisations to implement Best Practice Infection Control Procedures to ensure we can assist with flattening the curve and stopping the spread whilst continuing to carry on our daily lives and be positive.
We are increasing the frequency and depth of our cleaning routines ensuring sanitising takes place in all common hand touched areas and items after every service period as a minimum.
Phones, cash registers keyboards door handles are being wiped over regularly with antibacterial disinfectant spray. This includes washing your hands after handling money, using shared pens, utensils shared items and equipment.
We are encouraging our team and customers to practice GOOD PERSONAL HYGIENE and to wash their hands frequently with soap and water with correct Hand Washing Procedures. We have posters also to remind everyone safe Coughing Etiquette to minimise the spread of germs and to use a tissue and cover your mouth when you cough and sneeze. Acknowledging Social Distancing as advised 1.5 metres and avoid close contact with others such as touching, hand shaking etc, including touching your face, eyes, nose mouth.
We have hand sanitiser available for our customers use in all of function venues however, due to limited stock of hand sanitiser we do ask where possible you supply your own to allow us to keep supplies for those who cannot purchase their own.
We wish to encourage contactless payment via credit card, payWave at this time to minimise the spread of germs via cash handling.
Our team have been notified not to come to work, to self-isolate and seek medical advice if they show any signs of being unwell. We encourage our customers to do the same to protect themselves, their family and the wider community.
