Definitions & Guidelines
Nominations are open to any employee from a manufacturing company who has made an outstanding personal contribution to a manufacturing business through their leadership ability.
Focus of the Category
This category recognises employees who display exceptional leadership attributes with less than 5 years’ experience in the industry who are having a positive impact on the business in which they are employed. It may be an apprentice or trainee, a university graduate, operators, or general workers who have demonstrated commitment to the business, ideas, drive and strong personal values.
This category is to be determined through an interview process, with the Board to appoint a panel of at least two experienced judges to conduct the interviews. Candidates are encouraged to bring a portfolio of their work to the interview and any reward and recognition evidence they may have. Tone of the interviews will be relaxed and informal with the candidate encouraged to tell their story.
